BambooHR org chart
Sprooster turns your BambooHR directory into a live org chart. Connect with a read-only API key; the supervisor field on each employee draws the reporting lines, and BambooHR's changed-since feed keeps the chart current — new hires, reorgs, and departures land without anyone editing a chart.

How does it connect?
With a BambooHR API key — no OAuth dance, no app to install. Sprooster only ever reads; nothing is written back to BambooHR. The BambooHR setup guide shows where to generate the key and what to hand your security team.
Where does the reporting line come from?
From the supervisor on each employee record — the field BambooHR itself uses for approvals. HR keeps it accurate as a matter of course, which is exactly what makes BambooHR a strong org chart source: the data is maintained by the people whose job it is to maintain it.
What fields does Sprooster read?
- Display name, first and last name
- Job title and department
- Work email
- Supervisor (draws the chart)
- Employee number, location, and work phone, where populated
- Hire date and date of birth, for Milestones — anniversaries and birthdays, only when the dates are actually recorded
What about personal email addresses?
Sprooster uses the work email only. BambooHR also stores a home email, and Sprooster deliberately ignores it unless you explicitly turn that fallback on — a tenant setting for companies whose BambooHR genuinely has no work addresses. Personal data that isn't needed doesn't get synced.
How do updates reach the chart?
Through BambooHR's changed-since feed. After the first full sync, each run asks only for employees that changed, so syncs stay fast at any headcount. Employees marked Inactive drop off the chart on the next run.
What does it cost?
Flat plans by synced headcount — free up to 25 people, and everyone in the company is included on every plan. See pricing.
Also syncs from Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and CSV.
