OrgStudio documents
The org overview you'd normally rebuild in slides every quarter. Except here the data blocks render live from the directory, so it's never out of date.
Documents that stay current
An OrgStudio document is built from blocks: headings and text you write, plus people tables and headcount charts that render live from the directory. When people join, move, or leave, the document updates itself. There's nothing to regenerate.
Documents are saved to your workspace and autosave as you type. The OrgStudio home lists yours (open, rename, or delete them there), and templates and ready-made org packs give you a filled-in starting point instead of a blank page.
Choosing who's in a block
Every data block can be scoped: filter by department, location, or any facet, or add a search query. One document can hold “all of Engineering” next to “everyone in Portland.” Leave a block unfiltered and it covers the whole directory.
Sharing it
- Download — Print/PDF, a PowerPoint deck (one slide per section), CSV of the people tables, or the charts as a PNG. Files are generated live over the current directory.
- Publish — a live view link: a standalone page that keeps updating as the org changes. You choose per link whether viewers may download a PDF or image (off by default, and viewers never get the raw CSV).
Admins: Publishing respects the workspace's publishing policy set in Settings: a master switch, plus fields that are stripped from every published view no matter what an author selected.
