Getting around
Your workspace in five minutes — where everything lives, and how Home decides what's worth telling you about.
The sidebar
Everything hangs off the left sidebar: Home, People, Org chart, Positions, Teams, and OrgStudio. Admins also see Settings. The Collapse button shrinks the sidebar to icons when you want the room — handy on the org chart.
Home is your morning glance
Home greets you and sums up the day underneath — how many celebrations this week, new faces, role changes. When something is happening today (a birthday, a work anniversary, someone's first day), it gets promoted to a wide Happening today banner so you can't miss it.
- Celebrations looks a week ahead — birthdays and work anniversaries.
- New faces shows who started in the last month, faces first, so you learn to recognize them.
- Role changes lists recent moves — old title → new title.
These streams are scoped to your corner of the org — your manager, teammates, reports, and one ring out — not a firehose of the whole company. (If you're not in the directory yet, Home shows org-wide news instead of nothing.)
Your corner of the org
A card on Home shows the people around you — your manager, your reports, your teammates — pulled live from the directory. Click anyone to open their profile, or jump to the full org chart from the card.
Your space
Everything you star or save collects in Your space on Home: favorite people, recently viewed profiles, teams you follow, and saved searches. It starts empty and fills as you use the workspace — nothing to configure.
The green dot
The small status next to the greeting — Directory synced · 2h ago — tells you how fresh the data is. If it says Directory not synced yet, your admin hasn't connected a people source; everything still works, there's just nobody in it yet.
Admins: You get a Viewing as toggle at the bottom of the sidebar to preview exactly what employees see, and a setup checklist appears on Home while the workspace is still empty.
